Director of Estimating

As the Director of Estimating of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. Peter offers nearly twenty years of construction industry experience. He is responsible for the daily operations of estimating and pre-construction services. He possesses a wealth of experience in construction management, with expertise in estimating, in contract administration, procurement and cost control. He is responsible for overseeing the company's estimating department.

Peter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Engineering Management from Tufts University. His professional experience encompasses the involvement in multiple projects (ranging in size up to $300 million) with extensive experience in hard bid/lump sum, GMP and conceptual estimates as well as value engineering and risk assessment analysis. His experience spans from large heavy/highway transportation projects to corporate, residential and retail/restaurant markets.

Peter holds a Massachusetts Construction Supervisors license. He is a member of several industry-related associations and affiliations, including Association for General Contractors, Association Independent School of New England, Boston Society of Architects and National Association Industrial Office Properties.
