As President of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Jay offers over twenty years of construction industry experience to his clientele. He is responsible for the overall development and execution of the corporate strategic business plan. He assumes total accountability for the economic responsibilities of the corporation. Through his leadership and unequivocal commitment to client service our company has enjoyed numerous repeat business relationships earning a strong reputation as one of New England's leading construction management firms. He celebrates a host of satisfied clients such as Reebok International, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, The TJX Companies, Inc., Thayer Academy, New England Sports Network (NESN), Millipore Corporation, Tufts University, The MathWorks, and General Electric.

Jay earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Minor in Management from Tufts University. His professional experience in the engineering and construction industry spans from large heavy/highway transportation projects and municipal buildings to the construction of mission critical/advanced technology facilities and markets such as corporate, private schools, life sciences, industrial/manufacturing, recreational, mixed-use/multi-unit residential, sustainable buildings and financial.

Jay is an active member of several industry-related associations and affiliations, including Association of Independent Schools In New England, Boston Society of Architects, CoreNet, International Facilities Management Association, Massachusetts Biotechnology Council and United States Green Building Council. He is also a proud board member of Tufts University, Thayer Academy, South Shore Hospital President's Circle, Ellis Memorial and Champions for Children's Hospital.
