Rich McGuinness
Safety Officer

As Safety Officer of J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Rich offers nearly thirty years of construction industry experience including over fourteen years of construction safety. He is responsible for overseeing our on-site safety initiatives, employee safety training, conducting safety audits, and incident investigations, and continuously developing a comprehensive safety program.

Rich received his education in Architectural Technology and Civil Engineering from Massasoit Community College. His professional experience encompasses extensive involvement and experience in project management and managing safety projects ranging in size from $2 to $150 million in the multi-unit residential and academic projects including Ambrose Elementary School, Brewery Lofts, Malcolm White Elementary School, Newton Wellesley Medical Facility, Shrewsbury Elementary School, Suffolk University, Torres Condominiums and Trinity Place.

Rich has completed several industry related courses and programs including Par Sales and Leadership Program, 40hr Hazardous Waste Site Worker Training, 8hr Supervisory Training for Hazardous Waste Site Work, 10hr Construction Safety Training/OSHA Outreach, 32hr Monsanto Contractors Health & Safety Training Course, National Safety Council First Aid - Level 2 Caregiver and Basic Cardiac Life Support (CPR) - Level C.
