J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., Visnick & Caulfield and AHA Engineers Collaborate on Two New Corporate Headquarters

10/25/2007, Quincy, MA -- J. Calnan & Associates, Inc., one of New England’s leading construction management firms specializing in world-class preconstruction services and challenging construction projects, announced today the firm is collaborating with Boston-based Visnick & Caulfield Associates and Lexington-based AHA Consulting Engineers on two new corporate headquarters; Polaroid Corporation and MIB Group.

The firm has been retained to provide preconstruction and construction management services for the fit-out of Polaroid’s new corporate headquarters. The Waltham-based company will be relocating to Concord, MA upon commencement of construction at the end of the year. The renovation will include a total of 30,000 square-feet on the first and third floors to accommodate the multiple workstations, offices, kitchenettes, conference space and boardrooms. The first floor aluminum entrance features adjacent product demonstration rooms with plasmas; and the third floor designed primarily for office space.

MIB Group also plans to move into their new corporate headquarters in Braintree at the end of the year. J. Calnan & Associates, Inc. is providing construction management services for the 37,000 square-foot fit-out. The renovation is on the fourth floor of 50 Braintree Hill Office Park, and will include an elaborate lobby with detailed millwork and specialty fabrics; the space will also have multiple workstations, offices, kitchenettes, conference space and boardrooms.
